Young artists from the Opera Academy in Warsaw bring us forward in time with a short concert of 20th and 21st century Polish repertoire directed in a semi-staged performance by Ewa Rucińska. Specially recorded at Teatr Wielki in October for World Opera Day, the programme includes works by Karol Szymanowski, Jan Gall, Ludomir Różycki, Szymon Laks, Franciszek Maklakiewicz, Tadeusz Baird, Henryk Czyż, Paweł Łukaszewski and Mieczysław Weinberg.
